Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian readers! I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. Maybe partaking in a trip to the park with the pooches or taking advantage of the nice weather to tidy up the back yard before the snow hits.

We did our turkey dinner this evening and the boys got a special dinner as well. I try to keep their meals as "species appropriate" as possible, but everyone needs a little treat now and then.

Gio and Romeo shared the raw goodies from inside the turkey, the neck, heart, and liver. Then I topped it off with some mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce.

Yum Yum!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Last Thanksgiving I gave Winnie mashed potatoes and some [cooked] turkey. She licked the potatoes clean and refused to touch the turkey, LOL!
