Off to Edmonton

Tomorrow afternoon I am heading off to Edmonton, AB for the weekend. Touch n' Go, a flyball team out of Las Vegas is giving a seminar, hosted by Synergetic Surge. Touch n' Go is the current world record holder with a time of 15.096 seconds. My flyball team is sending a couple of people to soak up some information.

Our team is not overly competitive, we run dogs with times anywhere from 4.5 to 8+ seconds. Each dog gets an equal opportunity to play, and we are all about having a good time and making it positive for everyone involved. We do not strive to be the fastest team, or even to compete with the fastest teams. But there is always information one can gather from those that have reached those heights. Any little tips or tricks that we can incorporate into our training sessions and classes will be helpful. Take what you want, and leave the rest!

I'm driving up with a friend tomorrow, then back again Sunday evening. It's about a 5.5 hour drive, give or take. Apparently things are to wrap up by 4pm on Sunday, so we should be home by 10pm (way past my bedtime, though!).

The boys are staying with "grandma". I hate leaving them behind, but it makes it somewhat easier knowing that "grandma" will spoil them rotten the whole time. I'm lucky to have such a great baby sitter. Otherwise, I would never get out of town! She is even fine with feeding the boys their raw, so they don't need to change all their routines. I stocked up on some pre-made raw today, though, just to make things easier (and so I don't need to worry about bone supervision).

See you all again next week! I likely won't be updating the blog until Monday ... Sorry, but you guys just aren't important enough for me to write something up Sunday evening! LOL You'll have to wait until I get some sleep.

Romeo tried to sneak himself into my suitcase. Gio's too big to fit, so is just waiting
out in the car.

I'd like to attend one of their seminars someday. I would imagine they could charge a decent price. How much did the seminar cost?

Thanks!
Chris
