Introducing ...
Since I have started offering my own Rally-O classes, I thought I should make it official. Lay out my training philosophies, advertise my classes to the online community as a whole.
I would love feedback on the website. I've been playing around with the Blogger layouts to tweak it into a website, so there are limitations. But if you think I should include something that isn't already there, or remove something that is, please send comments my way!
Very nice logo!

You should do very well. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteI read through your Prairie Dog Training website. Everything looked great. The only thing I might change, this is just my opinion so I hope you dont take offense, is the part about your methodolgy. You start out by saying you use you "gut feel and instinct " Now if you keep reading you see that your training is reward based with praise and toys. You use a clicker but not treats. I think if it were me, I would take out the stuff about gut feel and instinct or move it down futher in the section. When people are looking for a trainer they want more than gut feel and they may not read any further. And that would be ashame because it really sounds like you put a lot of thought into your methodology. I hope I didnt offend you. Everything really looks great.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana! I certainly do not take offense. Any constructive criticism is much appreciated and I will try to reword things so that it makes a bit more sense! haha I find it difficult to put into words what my exact methodology is ... as it truly is just some feeling I get for what will work for an individual dog. I was using clicker theory on my own before I even knew there was such a thing as a clicker.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, and to everyone that has offered support and suggestions!
