Hot Hot Hot!

34C (93F) ... Yikes!

The car is in the shop ... darn engine light again. So with no form of transportation and a severe allergy to the Saskatoon bus system (it makes me all bitter and jumpy), I'm working from home. The boys love it, though I can't say that they are helping much in my search for procrastination. A lot of their day involves sleeping on the floor, moving to the bed for another nap, then to the couch, then back to the floor.

I took a break from the computer screen to take the boys outside and enjoy some of the heat. But in temperatures like this, the only acceptable activity is more napping.

Or possibly finding a good patch of sunlight, squinting your eyes and pointing your face towards the warmth.

Then back inside for a big drink of water and another relaxing nap in the cool air conditioning.

Moxie loves to run out and sit in the sun and lay on the hot pavement... and always makes squinty eyes, lol!

I am all about the napping thing when it is hot......I move from air conditioning vent to air conditioning vent and will pop outside only long to take care of business and I am ringing the bell to come back in again.

Oooo wee hey I just found you guys! You should come visit me too.. some people call me a big smooth sheltie! LOL. How big is Gio? 'Cause I'm 43 pounds and small for a collie.

If you want to see more fun shelties in agility and stuff, my Aunt Marie has resqtails.com and I bet she'd love to see you too!

I love collies and shelties!

I am happy to see that Gio and Romeo now have a blog!

It has been very hot here too. My dogs barely venture outside when the weather is like this - they don't like water either - so I can't even cool them down with the hose. It must be nice to have dogs that love water.
